Ifthereforeamanhaveaquestionofinjury,dependingonthelawofnature;thatistosay,oncommonequity;thesentenceofthejudge,thatbycommissionhathauthoritytotakecognizanceofsuchcauses,isasufficientverificationofthelawofnatureinthatindividualcase。Forthoughtheadviceofonethatprofesseththestudyofthelawbeusefulfortheavoidingofcontention,yetitisbutadvice:itisthejudgemusttellmenwhatislaw,uponthehearingofthecontroversy。
