然而，他轻松地举起它，就像一个牧羊人搬运雪白的羊毛一样，
他甩动着它，在空中摇晃；
因为宙斯支持着他，减轻了它的重量，
这块笨重的岩石，像是神明的劳动成果。
于是，他带着装备来到折叠的门前，
由坚固的物质构成，体积庞大；
有着结实的铁条和青铜铰链，
挂在坚固的实心木梁上：
然后他用力撞击门板，
实心的横梁弯曲了，折叠门被撞裂了；
从噼啪作响的门中，
杆子和飞舞的铰链发出声音。
现在，愤怒的首领冲了进来，
显得阴沉如黑夜！他挥舞着两根闪亮的长矛：
他明亮的盔甲反射出可怕的光芒，
他眼中的火焰闪烁着生命的光辉。
他行动如神，不可阻挡，
似乎是一个超凡力量的对手。
然后，潮水般的特洛伊人涌了进来，
填满了这个空间；
希腊人看到了，他们惊慌失措，逃跑了；
海岸堆满了尸体，喧嚣撕裂了天空。
