Piece—wagesdonot,infact,distinctlyexpressanyrelationofvalue。
Itisnot,therefore,aquestionofmeasuringthevalueofthepiecebytheworking—timeincorporatedinit,butonthecontrary,ofmeasuringtheworking—timethelabourerhasexpendedbythenumberofpieceshehasproduced。Intime—wages,thelabourismeasuredbyitsimmediateduration;
