Inafewmomentstheconferenceended,andmanyofthemrandownthepathinthedirectionofthewater,therestsurroundingToby,andentreatinghimto“Moee,“orsitdownandresthimself。Asanadditionalinducement,severalcalabashesoffood,whichhadbeenbroughtalong,werenowplacedontheground,andopened,andpipesalsowerelighted。Tobybridledhisimpatienceawhile,butatlastsprangtohisfeetanddashedforwardagain。Hewassoonovertakennevertheless,andagainsurrounded,butwithoutfurtherdetentionwasthenpermittedtogodowntothesea。
