termtohispassion。Verylate,asIwasturningaway,Isawhimarrive——withnosmallsatisfaction,forIhaddeterminedtolethimknowimmediatelyinwhatwayIhadattemptedtoservehim。Buthestraightwaypassedhisarmthroughmyownandledmeofftowardsthegardens。Isawthathewastooexcitedtoallowmetospeakfirst。
