CHAPTERXII——MR。MORGANANDMR。RAFF

Sheldonwasbackintheplantationsuperintendingthebuildingofabridge,whentheschoonerMalakularanincloseanddroppedanchor。

Joanwatchedthetakinginofsailandtheswingingoutoftheboatwithasailor\'sinterest,andherselfmetthetwomenwhocameashore。Whileoneofthehouse-boysrantofetchSheldon,shehadthevisitorsservedwithwhiskyandsoda,andsatandtalkedwiththem。
